Getting started
How do I join a club or stable?
With the join code, as text or a QR code. You get both from your club or stable admin.
- Open the profile menu → My memberships
- Enter the code or scan the QR code
- The admin confirms your request and you get a push notification
If you already have your own horses, Equinora asks during the join whether to register them at the same time.
Why can't I use my new club or stable yet?
New clubs and stables are reviewed manually before activation. This protects against misuse.
- Activation usually takes one working day, and you'll be notified by email
- In the meantime you can keep using your existing memberships as usual
- Once activated, switch via the switch icon at the top of the left menu
How do I switch between several clubs or stables?
Via the switch icon at the top of the left menu. There you'll see all your memberships.
Tapping an entry hides it from the main view. The membership stays in place and can be shown again at any time.
Horses
How do I add my own horse?
- Profile menu → My horses
- Tap Add horse and you automatically become the owner
In edit mode you can add more owners (for a family horse, for example), invite riding shares and fill in details like breed, date of birth or emergency vet.
How do I register my horse with a stable or club?
- Under My horses, tap Register with club/stable on the horse
- Pick the destination; the request goes to the responsible admin
- Once confirmed, your horse appears in that horse list
Owner, manager, riding share: who can do what?
- Owners (private horse) and managers (club/stable horse) manage the horse fully: profile, health record, feeding plan
- Riding shares ride and book riding slots, but master data stays off-limits
- All three can ride and book
Who adds club and stable horses?
Club horses are added by the club admin (the club's horse list), stable horses by the stable admin (the stable horses tab). The owner is the club or stable.
Individual members can be assigned as a manager. They then look after the horse as if it were their own.
What profile data can I store for my horse?
In edit mode under Profile details: date of birth (age is calculated automatically), breed, colour, sex, height, UELN, alternative names, character description and emergency vet.
All fields are optional and visible to the members of your stable.
Where do I find the health record and feeding plan?
- Private horses: right in the horse profile
- Stable horses: in the stable horses tab, where all members keep the data together
- Riding club: deliberately not included. A club is about bookings and events, not the record of an individual horse
Managing a club
Where do I find the club settings?
As a club admin, in the left menu: Riding club → Club settings. There you manage logo, colours, join code, the linked club stable and premium.
How do I assign roles to members?
As a club admin, under Riding club → Role assignment. Two areas:
- Club functions: board, treasurer and the like, shown in the club profile
- App roles: member, riding instructor, moderator and club admin control the permissions in the app
Several roles per person are possible. For security reasons you can't change your own role. Another admin or support does that.
Where do I see the board and officers?
In the left menu under Riding club → Club profile: general club info, address and the org chart with all officers.

What does Equinora cost?
Basic use is free, with up to two of your own horses and ad-supported.

You book private premium as a subscription right in the app. Clubs and stables get their licence by invoice, a short request is enough. Every premium tier is ad-free. With the private annual plan you save around three months; clubs and stables start with three free months.
All prices are final. Under § 19 UStG no VAT is shown.
What are the private modules?
Extra tools for horse owners, bundled under My area in the left menu:
- Training diary with disciplines and statistics
- Treatment appointments (vet, farrier) with push reminders
- Cost tracker with CSV export
- Equipment management with maintenance reminders
The full feature set is part of private premium.
What is the management tool?
An add-on package for clubs and stables, 199,99 €/year on top of club or stable premium. With it you handle all your admin in the browser at equinora-app.de/portal: members and dues, GoBD-compliant invoices, SEPA direct debit and cash book.
Launching soon. You sign in with your app account, and it's unlocked per club or stable after booking. You can register your interest here.
Account & tech
How do I reset my password?
- On the login page, tap Forgot password?
- Enter your email address and submit
- Follow the link in the email and set a new password
The link is valid for 60 minutes.
How do I download a QR code?
In any QR code view you'll find Download / share at the bottom. Via the share dialog you can save the image, print it or send it by messenger.
How do I delete my account?
- Profile → Settings → at the very bottom, Delete account
- Tap Request confirmation email
- Confirm the link in the email; only then is it deleted
Your memberships end, and bookings and private data are removed. Shared horses stay intact for the other owners; you're simply removed.
No longer have the app installed? Then request deletion via our web form: equinora-app.de/konto-loeschen.html.
Can I also sign in via the browser?
Yes. Via Sign in at the top of the website you reach the web portal at equinora-app.de/portal, with the same account as in the app. The portal is meant for the board and treasurer; the finance features are unlocked by the management tool package.
